What is agentic commerce and do we need it now?
Buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Google and Perplexity to find and buy products for them. Stores wired into ACP, UCP, MCP and Perplexity Shopping get those orders; stores that aren’t are invisible at checkout time. The integration window is an early-mover advantage right now.
Which platforms do you support?
Shopify and Stripe stores are fastest — much of ACP and Perplexity is near turnkey. We also do full custom integrations for WooCommerce, Magento, Laravel and headless builds, including feed endpoints, checkout APIs and MCP servers.
Do we lose the customer relationship?
No. Under ACP, UCP and Perplexity’s program you remain the merchant of record — you keep the customer data, fulfilment and post-purchase relationship.
What does it cost to be on these channels?
The protocols themselves are open. Perplexity’s Merchant Program is free; OpenAI charges roughly 4% per Instant Checkout order plus normal payment fees. We model the economics per channel before you commit.
Is it safe to let AI agents place orders?
Yes — payments use tokenized mandates (Stripe Shared Payment Tokens, Google AP2), and we add validation, rate limits, logging and human review on sensitive steps before anything goes live.
